We love homemade food !! so imagine the excitement we had when we found out we could make our own tortilla chips!! The only thing was, we didn’t make the tortillas ourselves.
Never knew how easy it was to make them!!! Great comfort food especially during this busy examination period. Of course, it’s a really great snack for kids or when you have guests. Also, it’s experimenting to make different seasonings for different flavours.
Our quick and easy healthy cajun homemade tortilla chips.
Tortilla (Store bought)
- Preheat oven to 160°C
- Using a pastry brush, brush olive oil on one side of the tortilla and sprinkle the seasoning. (We just kept stacking one on top of the other- it’s easier to cut them later)
- Slice the tortilla into wedges. Bake for 10 – 15mins depending on the size of the wedges.
- Sprinkle the bake tortilla chips with salt.
